Children - The Rock

The Rock is JICF's Children's Ministry. Partnering with parents, we offer Sunday school classes for children from age 0 to grade 6. We are grateful for what God is doing in The Rock and by His grace we are able to offer 16 Sunday school classes to minister to more than 250 children each Sunday.

To give you an overview of the Sunday school classes offered, below are the three different departments which are set up to minister to children of different ages:

NURSERY DEPARTMENT (0-3 YEARS OLD)

Class for 0-36 months old (located in the regular Nursery Room, at the end of the hallway in JICF office).

Newcomers need to register your children. All parents need to pick up a letter from Coordinators communicating important information you need to know. Registration forms and letters are available in each class.

PRE-SCHOOL DEPARTMENT (3-6 YEARS OLD)

Class for 3-4 year olds
Class for 5-6 year olds

ELEMENTARY DEPARTMENT (GRADE 1 TO GRADE 6)

We offer four classes for Elementary grade children. We have named the classes: Ruby, Sapphire, Jade, and Gold, which are located in The Rock room (the room at the end of the hallway, across from the Sanctuary). Newcomers need to register, then we will assign your children to their respective classes. Please also pick up a letter from the Coordinators to parents, communicating important information you need to know. Registration forms and letters are available at the entracnce to The Rock room.

Note:

For 1st service (8:45 a.m.), the Elementary grade children worship together with their parents inside the Sanctuary. They will be dismissed right before the sermon and should arrive at their classes by 9:15 a.m. to avoid disruption. Nursery and Pre-school children can be dropped to their classes by 8:40 a.m.

For 2nd service (10:45 a.m.), the Elementary grade children together with the Pre-school children will worship at The Rock room. Parents of Pre-school and Elementary children should drop their children at The Rock room by 10:45 a.m. Nursery children can be dropped to their classes starting at 10:40 a.m.
